This STEAM symposium is the third academic symposia of the bicentennial countdown. Hosted by the College of Science and Mathematics, STEAM aims to integrate art and humanities into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, ie. adding the ‘A’ to STEM. As Norwich University embarks on a third century of educating tomorrow’s leaders, the principles of experiential and interdisciplinary teaching and learning are vital to the success of graduates in a global society. STEAM inherently shares these principles and calls us to action to promote discovery and entrepreneurship through the STEAM disciplines. The integration of interdisciplinary disciplines is part of a key academic plan moving forward, and it is a hope that this symposium will spark a lasting conversation.

All lectures are free and open to the public. Parking is available in Lot F on Central Street off Rte. 12. Accessible parking is available in front of Mack Hall off I.D. White Avenue. For more information and to live stream all the lectures, please go to: www.tls.norwich.edu.
