5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Trash to Treasure Spring Recycling Event
As students pack up to leave campus this week, consider donating still-valuable items you are not taking with you to Trash to Treasure, Norwich’s first spring recycling event. Coordinated by the Norwich University Sustainability Team, the goal of Trash to Treasure is to eliminate reusable items from being thrown into the dumpsters and brought to landfills.

Each day this week (May 6th – 10th) from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. a team of volunteers will be collecting donated items from the residence halls. These items can include small appliances, electronics, household goods, furniture, books, sporting goods, uniforms/clothing and more. If it is reusable we will take it!

On Wednesday, May 8th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. a pre-sale of all donated items will take place in Kreitzberg Arena, exclusively for NU students, staff, and faculty. The public sale will take place on Monday, May 13th from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and is open to anyone that wishes to attend.

Proceeds from this event will be reinvested into future sustainability projects and events on campus. If you have any questions or want to volunteer please email 4achange@norwich.edu or call (802) 485-2670.
