Event Description

In preparation for the 2018 Residency Conference, the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies invite Norwich faculty and staff to read Radical Inclusion: What the Post-9/11 World Should have Taught Us About Leadership written by GEN Martin Dempsey and Ori Brafman—this is part of the “Last” Read initiative for both undergraduate and CGCS students. As you read, think about the Residency Conference theme of Build on the Past. Lead into the Future and Norwich University's legacy of growing leaders.

As part of the "Last" Read initiative, three book discussion times will be available to anyone who wishes to discuss the book further.

  • Book Discussion 1 | Wednesday, June 20 @ 9:00 AM
  • Book Discussion 2 | Wednesday, June 20 @ 3:00 PM
  • Book Discussion 3 | Thursday, June 21 @ 10:30 AM

The "Last" Read initiative is based on the undergraduate campus' First Read program. The 2016 First Read book was The Martian by Andy Weir with discussions guided by University of Vermont polymer chemist, Chris Allen. Please note: if you choose to participate, you are responsible for the purchase of your own book.
