Title: "From Combat to the Classroom: Top Gun Tactics for Instructors, Students, and Life Beyond College"

Description: A combat-veteran F-16 Instructor Pilot, Dr. Brian Bradke spent over a decade training new fighter pilots. Together, you’ll learn how pilots learn to fly and fight, and discuss how current training techniques used by the Air Force are easily translatable to any course of instruction. Mirroring the Objective - Action - Debrief methodology, and SEE-DO-TEACH pedagogical approach, instructors will pick up some simple tools for engaging students and maximizing every minute of student contact.  Students will learn how discipline, preparation and a tactical mindset are critical for maximizing their scholastic experience.  And all participants will learn a few simple life hacks for accomplishing their mission.

Flight suit optional.

Bio: Dr. (MAJ) Brian “SPYDR” Bradke, USAF, is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering, the Vice President of Human Systems Research and Development for Spotlight Labs, and an F-16 Instructor Pilot, 119th Fighter Squadron, New Jersey Air National Guard.
